WELCOME TO VISTA

Vista is the theme for Designathon at UCLA 2024 promoting inclusivity and diversity of design with the invitation to soar beyond the typical canvas. Vista encourages our designers to explore the unordinary and challenge the status quo. Design thinking helps us address problems, using innovation to contribute to our quickly developing society. By placing importance on empathy, equity, inclusivity, diversity, and curiosity, we shape design to be whatever we need and dream it to be. This allows us to place an emphasis on a new perspective in design that proves worthwhile. No matter how you tackle design thinking, we’ll still see you soar beyond at Vista.
Under the UCLA Student Group Conduct Code, applications will not be discriminated on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, gender expression, pregnancy, physical or mental disability, medical condition (cancer-related or genetic characteristics), ancestry, marital status, age, sexual orientation, citizenship, or service in the uniformed services.
